Ladies and gentlemen, girls and boys. It is officially Sunny in London today. Dying of shock, all of you, I know.
It will be sunny at the weekend. And on Monday? Yes. Sunny. And that is a Good Thing because it is a Bank Holiday on Monday.

So this is my plan:
Friday - out with girls from work. (I actually think I aged 20 years just by typing that phrase. We won't be going to a local Bingo hall and drinking dry sherry.)
Saturday - Get tattoo. Get drunk.
Sunday - exit London, go somewhere cool and maybe beachy with my friend Chris, to come back Monday night.

Sound like a good weekend to anyone else? I mean, you don't know Chris, so maybe you might have a horrible clash of personalities and therefore have a terrible weekend, but, yeah, whatever. I'm sure you'd get on.

Also, the more perceptive amongst you will have spotted that this is the weekend I plan to get a tattoo.

On the back of my hip, kind of top of my arse. It's a pattern that I designed myself and it's lovely and I am so excited!
Any advice in terms of how I can avoid being a complete spaz and messing it up? I have a great, nay incerdible, talent for messing things up. While I realize that the actual arty bit is out of my hands once I hand over my design to the (no doubt big and burly) man/woman, is there some aftercare tip I should be aware of?

I'm going to be one of those tattooed people.. I can't wait. Just help me not to be one of those my-tattoo-went-wrong people. Please, Internet, I beseech thee.
